CBDC & Blockchain

Posted on the front page of this site is a short video entitled “The Question Everyone is Asking.” As of the date it was produced, (March 30, 2022), the CB, or Central Bank, did not have a DC, or digital currency, but I implied it exists.  Any day now, my prediction will come to fruition.  There is little doubt the population of Americans will be seduced into adoption via easy Social Security debits, enticements, bonuses (payoffs), and tax deferment to ease the transition.   Comprised of two forms, the new shape of USD will be both paper (for a while) and digital which claims to be another cryptocurrency managed by a blockchain like Bitcoin.  But is it?

There’s little doubt USD2, as I call it, will be again based on the “good” credit of the United States and not gold. This new federal system will pick up right where the old left off—in shambles.  But then there is another monetary system on the horizon. This one, let’s call it, QFS, will not only be backed by gold in inventory, but embedded with a tracking methodology. Which one will win, USD2, or QFS?  Who knows? They both might win.  It’s important to note that they both are centralized in nature and not decentralized like cryptocurrency.  Like I said in my video, your choice will speak as to how you value privacy if not liberty.
